Ronald Allan Charles, 1965     

Twice inducted into the National Judo Hall of Fame for 2 separate accomplishments and holder of an 8th Degree Black Belt ( 6th degree belt in Jujitsu) place him in a rarified status extremely few have achieved in the sport. Presented with the National Coach of the Year award in 2012, his personal contributions to the sport are as impressive as his professional achievements giving a singular and greatly admired uniqueness to this worthy alumnus. He has utilized his expertise to provide free instruction, establish cost free Judo clubs and personally invest time and energy with police, military and women's self-defense courses. A worldwide promoter of Judo/Jujitsu, he exemplifies the best of a Citadel education.
